The distinctive SL15 grille is produced using a mold taken from an original 1945 Wurlitzer. The solid aluminum cast from this mold is then chrome?plated and polished, just like the original. Behind the grille sits either an aluminum speaker mesh or a beautiful gold?colored vintage?style speaker cloth.
The speaker configuration is specifically engineered to complement the sound of the SL15 cabinet and its amplifier. It features a high?quality 8?inch bass/midrange driver paired with a separate tweeter system. With 300 watts of power and an 8?ohm impedance, these nostalgia?inspired speakers deliver impressive performance and enough clarity to keep the party going until dawn.
